Suggestion for Tankless Water Heater

I have a 12 gallon water heater in my 2014 Forest River Cardinal 3850rl. I am wanting to change it to a tankless system. What suggestions does someone have? I see the Girard 2 Gallon system with 44k BTU but was wondering if the opening is too big, too small. Could use some guidance.

Look up the Truma. From what I've read they have a drop-in model. My next RV will have a Truma on demand water heater.

Our River Stone came with the Girard 2 and it worked well but with a learning curve, we got switched over to a Truma and it is a much easier unit to use but I have heard they will not sell to a individual and it must be installed by a Truma service center, also not cheap at close to $2,000
