Surveyor SP189

I am thinking of replacing my 36 gallon fresh water tank in my Surveyor SP 189 with a larger 50-55 gallon type but can't seem to find one. All I can find are rectangle type that fit in RVs or 5th wheels but not under floor. It looks like the existing tank is held in place by angle irons that is tapped and screwed in place. Would like a little more fresh water when I boondock. Is this even possible? Any suggestions? Thanks,
Hammahamma

Welcome to the forum!

It may be an easier alternative to carry additional water containers such as the link below and refill the existing FW tank.

One thing to consider is a full 50-55 gallon tank very well may put you over on tongue weight or over gvwr of camper.
Be careful doing this as you may not like the end result of to much tongue weight.

35 gallon = 291 lbs
55 gallon = 440 lbs
