Tank heaters

New to this forum and to winter camping. I looked but could not find an answer to my question. I just bought a 3008W, but have not taken delivery yet (recliners are ordered).
The question I have is since my last TT did not have tank heaters, should they be left on all the time in cold temps? Maybe if someone would be so kind as to give me some guidance on their use it would be fantastic!
I hope to take it out for a few days to a week in late Nov. I will have elect. available.

Depends. I had them on my last unit and my grey dump still froze when winter camping.
