Tank sensors and fresh water fill hose

I am sure many of you know this, but I was surprised. I have been trying to figure out why my fresh water tank will not fill on our 2016 Wildcat 29rlx and in that process of removing portions of the underbelly I found that most of my tank sensors are disconnected or almost disconnected. Either the nuts with lock washers unscrewed or they were never put on tight enough at the factory. I am going to try some locktite on them, hopefully they will stay.

The real reason I started looking under the unit was to figure out why I can never get a full fresh water tank. We almost exclusively do boondocking so a full tank is a must. I discovered that the air vent hose to the tank was below the fill tube in some areas. I pulled the hose up as best I could, but when they built the unit they wrapped all of the hoses, electric lines, air ducts and everything this else together. It is a real rats nest. The tank filled, so I guess it worked.
