Tankless water heater questions

Hi all, we were pleasantly surprised that our new Wolf Pup 14CC has a tankless water heater. Apparently that's new for 2023, the 2022 we walked through at the RV show didn't have it. One thing the manual seems to have missed out on is the finer points of the control panel. It doesn't tell you what the green light means. Any ideas?



On the winterizing aspect, it says you can blow it out or run the antifreeze through it. There is no bypass valve and no drain on it. I'm inclined to blow it out, I would think the antifreeze would promote corrosion. Everything I was learning about RV water heaters was that antifreeze was a no-no. Opinions?

I have never run antifreeze through mine, but mine says not to. I just blow it out.
Find the specific make and model of your tankless and I'm betting the online owners/install manual will answer most of your questions.

Strangely, the online version of the Furrion manual doesn't mention the lights at all. I've figured out the red light means it has power as the printed manual says, the green light SEEMS to indicate that it's up to temperature, but not always. Tried reaching out to Furrion, they seem to be even more confused by what the lights mean, and even telling me about a "yellow light" that doesn't exist.



Trying to search for info on winterizing, finding mixed info. Some say blow it out with air. Other folks have tried blowing Furrion tankless heaters out with air, and they were ruined by freezing because parts of them still hold water. I'm thinking run the pink stuff through the cold and the hot lines and hope that takes care of it.


Tried contacting Forest River too to see if they have an updated procedure since the one they have only covers the conventional ones. Don't have bypass valves or a drain.
