I just joined the forum tonight but feel like I have to put in a word for Girard tank less water heaters. First let me say that the threads I' read about them are old 2012. I got one of the first Girard tank less water heaters and I grant you I had numerous problems but it was practically a prototype. I had so many problems that when they got the bugs worked out they sent me a free NEW MODEL and by that I mean the one that has a control, much like the knob on your cook stove, that you mount inside you RV in a convenient location that allows you to control the flame in the unit so that you can adjust the temperature. I got it in April 2014 and it works flawlessly. It doesn't use a lot of propane and is quieter than the old unit as well. We love it. We are full timers and felt a tank less was the way to go when you live in your RV full time.
We had an old 1991 32 ft Travel Line Kountry Comfort. It as old, heavy, and not much to look at. It was totaled about a month ago. We just bought a 2005 Salem 29RLSS. How nice to have a slide. It will soon have a Girard as well.
