Toilet needs sink to flush
Ok folks
2015 Salem Cruise Lite. All of a sudden on this outing my toilet will not flush. Never had problems before. If I turn on the bathroom sink then the toilet will flush. If sink is not running, I get no toilet water. Never had issues like this before. We are always connected to city hookup. Any help would be great.

Any idea what the water pressure is? Seems like it may be high enough that the toilet valve won't operate but when you run the sink, the pressure drops and the valve operates.

What he said!!
Are you using a pressure regulator?? Does it have a gauge? What pressure are you seeing?

Interesting issue. If the city water pressure is too high and you don’t have a pressure regulator you can try putting water in the freshwater tank and use your on board water pump. We go to a campground that has the opposite problem - the water pressure can be as low as 20 psi - so we fill the freshwater tank and use our water pump instead.

Typically, RV toilet valves are manually operated via a pedal. If you can push the pedal down the valve is open.

I believe this OP is referring to the toilet water valve by the statement "... I get no toilet water".

Well, we'll need some clarification.
The OP said... "if the sink is not running, I get no toilet water." They don't say... if the sink is not running, I can't push the pedal.
Nonetheless, I'd be interested in knowing how the toilet flushes when using the pump.
