Quick simple fix is to stop flushing it altogether. Have a small trash can with a Wal Mart bag in it and toss it frequently. You can use the trash can with a swinging lid if the thought of it gives you trouble. People with septic tanks often do this and of course most of the rest of the world.

Small mircles never ceases to amaze me. We use Costco's finist at home but even there I keep a plunger handy. And we have the built up solids pumped from our septic more often because of that choice. The only thing
Thicker than Costco is Cotonelle or chopped up flannel.

But I do agree with WATER, WATER, WATER.

I dump 5 gallons of water plus a chem pak into the toilet before first use after black tank is emptied.

Plus about 8 oz. of Calgon. It is at Walmart, in the bath bubble/treatment section. Not easy to see on the shelf. More usually on the bottom & pushed back because you know.......minimum wagers don't have to bend down to pull stock forward. Us seniors do!

Another vote for Scott's RV TP. Awesome stuff and dissolves completely in the tank. Wife insisted on Charmin (yes, and I had clogging issues) until I told her to try the Scott Brand. She is on board with the switch now.

Try it!

Rather than spending money on Scotts RV toilet paper, go to the toilet paper section of Walmart or and grocery store and buy Scotts 1000 tp, a single ply septic system recommended toilet paper. SAME thing as the "RV" paper at a fraction of the cost. We have used this for 15 years and have never had a problem!

Yup, in my travels throughout the world I have seen this. I have also seen rampant cases of Dysentery, Ecoli and Hepatitis A & B in these same places. There is a reason for why they call it a "septic" system.

Have 38' of FR Cherokee sitting in the driveway and that "Shovel" has been in every TT I've owned since 1984. Mostly it's for cleanup of the 4 legged boys, but it's always in it's certain spot, with a roll of TP next to it.....just in case of an EMERGENCY !
