Toilet paper piling up

Not sure if anyone has had this problem, but my B.I.L. and his wife believe in the flushable wipes...like baby wipes. Well he started having trouble at the dump station with it draining really slow. He blamed it on his mother for stuffing too much TP in the toilet. This fall he called me for help with his black tank....you know where this is going.....Well...he had filled it completely up and let sit overnight to clean out before winterizing. pulled the valve and just a trickle came out. I told him to run a snake up the pipe to remove obstruction....should've told him to stand to the side...as he sat down right in front of it. Sure enough...the RV movie all over the place and yes...we did hose him down in the front yard. A gigantic wad of those "Flushable wipes" had piled up over time and collected right before the gate valve. I don't think they will be using those anymore.

Ive never used PI leaves but I did accidentally come across some while doing a yard clean up. Before realizing it, I used the bathroom and spent the next few weeks in an itchy hell.

A friend of mine & his wife were picnicking @ the beach, he loved eating Peppecinis sp?
with his sandwiches, he forgot and went #1 in the bushes, with pepper juice on his hands, You can imagine what happen next !!! NO place to wash his hands or private parts !!!

Many city systems have had issues with these flushable wipes as well. I would not want that job as they had to dive 80-90 feet in raw sewage to clear the clog.

Don’t some people use there hand in other countries, I have heard some people do that here. Not me we use Charmin bathroom tissue. Gentle toilet paper

X3. After a major clog several years ago, we stopped putting t/p down the toilet. Just empty the bathroom wastebasket a couple times a day as needed using plastic wastebasket liners.

May be a dumb question. Sorry if it is. Are you using the 1 ply paper made for RV's

But you have to admit, an old corncob does a Hell of a JOB !!!
Much like the Butt Wiper I bough from Amazon !!!
It is much smother than a corncob !!!

No.

We have used the same toilet paper in the R/V that we use in the house ever since we started using R/V toilets some 40+ years ago, Charmin.

Never an issue.

We have been using Single Ply from Walmart or the Grocery Store where we shop, I think when our supply is gone, we are going to try the TP we use @ home from Sam's, it is 2 ply but breaks up pretty quick !!!
Our Sunseeker has never plugged up, but our old TT plugged up often, on the land that we used to own up north I keep a stick out side to break up plug & break down pile !It all depends on how your tank is set up !!!

X2. Same Charmin in the house and RV for us. The amount of water used is key.

The only time we had any problems was when two teenage girls stayed with us that thought they needed to use half a roll of tp at a time. That took a while to flush out.

Also the RV waste tanks are holding tanks, not septic tanks. Solids do not have time to actually break down. Again, water is the key to avoiding problems, not how thin your tp is.

If it's yellow, let it mellow...
