Toilet valve prop for tank rinser?
I have a built-in tank rinser but want to use a tank wand in hopes of cleaning off the level probes. (Fat chance, I know.) I've seen a gadget that props the toilet valve open while doing that. I looked like a short length of PVC with a larger ring at one end to keep it from falling in.
Searching for it now, I find only Camco's more complicated device that you have to screw together. Does anyone know of what I'm describing and where I might obtain one? I'm not in a position to make one because I'm on the road and don't have the tools or supplies.
Thanks.

I’m afraid I’m missing something. Why not just step on the flush valve to hold it open?

Sure, that works, but it's awkward when trying to manipulate the wand.

It's no longer available at Camping World, nor do I find it on Amazon or Walmart. I guess it's no longer made. I'll wait until I get home next month and make one. I'll ask a plumber for some scrap.

My foot works fine, and my hands have no issue manipulating the wand. I have been known to use my 2500 PSI pressure washer to clean the inside of the toilet, plumbing, and tank. For that application, one must always maintain control of the wand.

The spatter must be significant.

Not as long as one keeps the wand down in the hole. The venturi effect pulls air down through the hole thus keeping any splatter at bay.

Why not just cut a piece of PVC pipe slightly smaller than the drain for the toilet, then let the valve close on it to hold in place, then stick your wand down the PVC pipe. $1.00 fix.

If I were not in the middle of a 3 month road trip, I would.
One thing to be careful about is to not drop it into the tank. I'll drill a couple of holes at one end on opposite sides and put bolts in it from the inside out. A couple of nuts will hold those in place. The bolts being wider than the opening, it can't drop through. I'll wrap them with something so they don't scratch the toilet.
