Tubing size

I'm going to bypass the water filter on my 2014 mini lite. Can someone confirm that 1/2 in shark bite fittings will fit the pex in my trailer?

Is there any reason to not use shark bite fittings?

Thanks in advance!

That's good news, I don't think I could fit a crimper in there.

So it doesn't break or come apart, drenching the trailer. There are quite a few horror stories about it. I'd rather get an inline filter for use outside on the hose.... mold/mildew and or a soft floor are not worth the gamble, IMO.

Exactly what I, and several people in here have done. Some of us did before there was a problem but far too many found out the hard way...not worth it. Another concern is having that filter sit inside a very warm trailer when it is not being used between trips, where it can often be 100+ degrees in that trailer...the bacteria and "stuff" it filters out can become a science project inside that warm water and canister...we switched to the outside filter and between trips I can store that filter in a fridge where it's kept cool.
