Post Puma 32RBFQ TT Water Heater

FRF,

I'm hoping someone here can help. I currently have a Suburban 5139A/SW6DE (6 gallon) water heater installed but I'm looking to swap it out with the 5147A/SW12DE (12 gallon) model. When I lookup both models the dimensions are slightly different so I'm hoping it'll fit.

Regards,

Kurt

Upgrading my Suburban water heater

Hi FRF,

I currently have a puma 32RBFQ with a Suburban SW6DE/5139A 6 gallon water heater. I'd like to upgrade to the SW12DE/5147A which is a 12 gallon water heater.

Has anyone cut a larger opening in the side of their RV?

The 6 gallon has a cutout size 12.75 x 12.75 x 19.19 while the 12 gallon has a cutout size of 16.38 x 16.38 x 22.25.

Thanks for any advice.

Kurt
