Valterra sewer hose drip cap set
On the advice of many online RV veterans, I purchased the Valterra drip cap set to seal my Valterra Viper sewage hose between dumps. I cannot for the life of me get the #^%* caps to work! The black colored cap goes on fine, but I really had to wrestle the red colored cap on (tested it on a brand new/clean hose so at least I wasn't wrestling a dirty hose). Once on, I can't get it off. Seems like the gasket in the end is too thick? I'm a newbie at this but not stupid...or maybe I am! What am I missing? Is there a trick to these things or did I just get a defective cap?
