valterra sewer solution

I'm a newby camper. Just bought a 23IKSS Roo. Looking for feedback on the valterra sewer solution. Wondering if anyone has had a good/bad experience with it, vs just a regular 3" sewer hose. Thanks

Welcome from WA, I can't comment on your problem but maybe those who have one will chime in.

Have used a sewer solution since 1994 but only at home. Takes about 15 minutes to empty both tanks but it does work if used properly.
For dumping at dump stations use the big hose or you will be very unpopular.
Most of the time there are no faucets to screw on the jet hose anyway so it wouldn't work.
At home, however, it works like a champ. I dump before we leave the last campground when heading home but I have to stop at least once on the way. So at home I get the tank completely emptied before parking it in the garage.
We have land so I run it on the grass. When we lived in town I dumped it into the service sink in the garage.
Hope this helps.

Valterra has a wide selection from system to accessories. A couple of suggestions.

1- The ability to visualize your output (plastic extension between tube and hose).
2- Screw on connectors (end pieces to hose)

Your hose is avail from Walmart. 20' for $10.00 (replace yearly or when necessary)

I have the valterra sewer solution. It is invaluable when I am home to reach my sewer and or go uphill. At the campground I do prefer the big 3 inch traditional hose. Overall I am pleased with what the valterra does, I would purchase it again and I would recommend it.
