Vent identification - SOB

A buddy of mine owns a SOB, he had a bad run in with some trees. Any idea if this is just a vent? Or something else? He says he has 2 of these:

It could be an attic vent - some manufacturers use these

They look like tank vents to me. They are all supposed to have a cap on them --- the cap attaches in the center with a single screw. Easily replaceable --- they attach to roof with screws and then you spread that sealant all around. Once it sets up, attach cap and plug the single screw access hole. Available on E-Bay or from Amazon or your fav RV vendor.

As said in other posts, these are just a different brand of tank vents.

Sounds good. I told them to go back up and take a whiff-if it stinks, it's a vent.

I'm with this. Looks more like attic vent than the typical tank vent. Aux vents are larger diameter

It is a attic vent have 3 of them in my CC and FR has been using them for a few years now the take the condensation out of the roof. SO if you need parts ask FR or try a bib box store, they should not be that hard to find.
Also tell your friend to look up more often and this will not happen.
