Very low flow from shower cold water

I sanitized the water system this weekend preparing for our first camping of the season. while purging the air out of the lines, I noticed that the cold water side of the shower had barely any flow. Other facets were fine, so I assumed it was an issue with the shower cold water valve. We have a 2016 Rockwood Ultralite that we bought new 3 years ago. I removed the water valve on the cold side, and after the remaining water pressure soaked and blew the parts into the shower floor, I noticed a small round rubber piece, and a spring, in addition to the valve cartridge. I examined the spring and rubber tip and found it was packed full of plastic plumbing bits. I cleaned it out, and reassembled the facet. It works fine now, but I wonder how much more of this assembly trash is floaring around the water system.

Could it be from the fresh water tank where they installed the tank?

Trailers are notorious for having sloppy clean-up during the manufacturing process. I've been doing some work on mine recently and there is all sorts of panel cut outs just left behind cabinets and drawers as well as drill "chaff" anywhere they made a hole.
