Water Heater issue-yellow flame

My atwood heater ignites fine but I only have a yellow flame and never get the normal "jet sound" as it starts to heat up. The flame is large and I worry that the wiring may already be damaged. Any thoughts what would be causing this. It was working 1 day and not the next.

Yellow flame is caused by not enough air mixed with the propane.

Look for a spider web in the burner tube, check that the air adjustment hasn't moved.

Check the flame tube for obstructions. Wasp or dirt dauber nests are known to be found in the tube. It means the LP gas is not mixing properly with the air.
