Water heater smoke

Anyone know why my water heater would cause black smoke all of a sudden.

Cob webs in the flue or debris.
Blow out flue with compressed air.

Your getting the wrong air/fuel mixture becuase of it.

Make sure the set screw is tight on the adjustable sleeve.
