As posted on this site hundreds of times, you put some RV antifreeze in it.
Two curious thoughts on this: - As I put RV antifreeze into the piping each year, it naturally flows into the traps. I would have to catch the antifreeze in a bucket to keep it from the traps.
- We do use the trailer in the winter, after the water's turned off and the antifreeze is in place. But I do wash my hands and brush my teeth with bottled water in the lavatory sink. I've never had a trap freeze.
