Water issue.

Good morning:

We are camping 1100 miles from home..new FR3 2018! Lots of issues but here's the major one:
1. In the low point drain area, we found water in the compartment...it was actually leaking into the ground. Found that the filter bowl was loose, tightened it....however.....now we can't fill our water tank because it is leaking directly from the "filtered hose" under the tank.....

I'm at the point that I'm ready to turn this MH back in only have 3000 miles on it and getting very disappointed on the quality of this product.
Can anyone tell me what the black hose is coming from as there is no way I can figure this out...... see pic
Thanks

The one without a fitting? That's probably overflow for the fresh water tank. The blue one is the fresh water tank drain. I can't see what the one behind it is. If it too is blue, it'll be the cold water line drain. iow the low point drain. I bought 1/4 turn valves for all the hoses with fittings! You probably have a red and blue pair of hoses further back too.

Rita,
Sorry you are having problems and are frustrated.

It's hard to tell from your photo and your description what hose you are referring to.

You mention it is black but none of the hoses are actually black.. The hose all the way to the left in the photo has a black covering of some sort on the end but the hose isn't black.

I would agree with the other poster that it is probably the overflow hose for the fresh tank. Water is supposed to come out there when the tank gets full while filling the fresh tank.

Also some water may come out of there before it is full as some tanks have a tendency to burp water into the overflow before the tank is completely full.

Reports here have indicated when it does that, it can then act as a siphon and actually drain all the water back out of the fresh tank after filling.
