Water Leaking

Can someone please tell us what’s going on here? We just notice it yesterday. How do we stop it from running? Click image for larger version

Close the valve. Its open. Push white handle in.

Just curious what does it go to?

We close it, then it leaks from the hose that’s in front of it. I think it’s the fresh water tank

If you’re hooked to city water It sounds like the pressure check valve for the city water is stuck open and filling your fresh water tank. I’ve read several threads about how to attempt to get it unstuck. I cannot remember the steps to take but it has been discussed. Try a search on the form and you will find it.

IF that tube is the fresh water tank overflow, they you do have a check valve problem and your fresh water tank is full.

This is the solution (which I stole from another member...don't remember who though)

Turn city water off ,relieve pressure in the system. Turn on water pump and let water run in a sink for a minute then shut the pump off. This should reset the back flow check valve. Turn city water back on. This happens a lot.

Of course, if you don't want all that water in your fresh water tank, you can either use the water pump or drain it from that valve.

Sounds like the check valve is stuck open like others have stated.
