Water leaking back through city water hookup line? (Solved)

WEll that's it in a nutshell. Looses pressure, pump kicks on, drips more water. Any ideas on what to do to fix?

Stuck city water back flow preventer.
Right behind where city water hook up is.

You may be able to stick a pick in and free it up.
Or replace it !

Yes a cheap fix I had this issue in the early spring. Pump continually ran and the water was spraying out of the city water hookup. In my case the backflow preventer had come apart and i simply replaced it.

Thanks for the help! Now that I know what it is, I'm heading to Weekend RV for the new part. I think that it has been going bad for a while now but took it to get to this point for us to really see what was going on. Pump would kick on but not often to really worry about till now. Again thanks for all your help!
