Water leaking from fresh water vent!

I am hooked to water source here in Ft Myers Fla (Cypress Trail)...we've been hearing a gurgling noise at night for some time..we hear it in the bedroom for a second or two then it goes away then comes back..I woke up this morning to find water leaking from my fresh water vent...I have not put ANY water in the fresh water tank as we have water source here....I shut off the water hose and turned the water tank drain...we've just gotten back from a 30 minute bike ride and the drain is still draining..somehow water has gotten into my fresh water tank and filled it up although I only hook up to the city water intake...I have only put water in the fresh tank a month or so ago anticipating boondocking for one night...

More than likely your water pump bypass has gotten a piece of trash in it and it is allowing water to fill your tank.............run your water pump and it may dislodge whatever is keeping it open..........drain your tank.
