Water Pump

Hi folks
I have had issues with the water pump cycling when water is not being used.I have checked the fitting several times.I have had it to the dealer for it once,and it worked right for a day.I cant find any water sitting anywhere.Sorry the camper is a 2016 Shasta Oasis 26rl.Thank you in advance for any help.

There is a check valve inside the pump to hold the pressure. If it is worn or has some dirt in it, it will not be able to hold the pressure and will cycle on and off.

You could also check the outside shower and make sure something isn't open or leaking there.

Any small leak anywhere in the system will allow the system pressure to drop and cause the pump to cycle. That being said, if there are no obvious drips or puddles, I'd suspect the check valve in the pump.

If your pump has the clear cover with the wire screen basket inside make sure it is cleaned out. I found plastic shavings in mine when I had the same problem. Cleaned that out and it works fine now.
