Water pump

I have a 2015 26RL tt. Just changed out my water pump. Filled fresh water tank up, very little water coming out in sinks, went outside and water is coming out of the city water hookup is.
Replaced pump with same pump, hooked up in the same way.
Thoughts
Anyone know if or where a check valve is?
Thanks

Did you change pump out because of the issues you're still having? There IS a check valve in the city water connection. It is in the connection itself. The whole thing is like a 15 dollar item.

Yep. There's a check valve inside the city water connection (you may have to remove the cone screen to see it) that keeps water from flowing out when using the pump.

In the interim, for a quick fix, screw a $0.50 garden hose shut-off in the city water connection and turn the knob/lever off.

The pump seemed to have fixed the problem with the city water running out of overflow in the fresh water tank but now the water is coming out where you hook up to the city water connection.

And has been stated earlier, that is a problem with the city water connection itself. Remove the rubber washer and filter screen and you will see it. In the photo below the check valve is connected to the white plastic pin the center. Actually connecting city water and running water the correct direction through the city water connection may reseat the check valve.

There is a check valve in pump too apparently that can cause fresh tank to fill up. There is probably nothing wrong with actual pump. Save it for a backup.

There seems to be some confusing regarding the actions that Elittose has taken and why. From posts #1 and #5 it seems that:

1. The initial problem was that city water was causing the freshwater tank to overflow.
2. Elittose replaced the water pump to fix that problem.
3. A new problem started, the new water pump was pumping water out of the city water connection.
4. Attempting to fix the new problem above, Elittose replaced the water pump again (which really had nothing to do with the new problem).
5. Because the second new water pump is also pumping water out the city water connection, they are now here asking for our advice.

The solution is that the check valve in the city water connection itself, not the water pump, needs to reseat - or the city water connection itself needs to be replaced. As an alternative, a 3/4" GHT (Garden Hose Thread) plug or shutoff valve could be screwed into the city water connection:
