water pump burnt out test?

2005 Forest River Georgetown motor home.
The in-line fuse to my water pump keeps blowing. It's a 10 amp fuse. Blows as soon as I plug it in.
Does this mean the pump is burnt out / shot?

Could be the switch or a wire is shorting out. Try another 12v source.

Thanks Old Coot. I jumpered the motor. No go. Took it apart - it was fried.
Installed new pump and all is good.
