Water Pump Did Not Work on First Trip

Hi All: I recently purchased a good used 2014 Coachmen Clipper Ultra-Lite 17FQ and went to use it for the first time this past weekend, but was dismayed to find I had no running water!

On my old trailer (and on others' now that I have investigated), the water pump makes a noise then quiets down doesn't come on again until its needed.

On my 17FQ, the pump never stops makng the noise and I get no water from any faucet or the shower.

My questions are:

1) Does anyone know exactly where the water pump is on the Coachmen Clipper 17FQ?

2) Is there an easy test-and-fix to see why I am not getting water (even though I filled up all 33 gallons upon arrival at the campground this past weekend?

3) Will any standard water pump replacement suffice, or are there certain, specific models of water pumps for different brands of trailers?

Thanks for any advice re: this issue....
