Water pump not stop

We have the same problem few months ago so I changed the water pump now it's happening again.

So what's happening after I changed the water pump everything was ok.

Today I was need to use the water pump because the city close the water.

After water come back I close the switch for the pump and now the water from the city keep filling the fresh tank non stop.

What can be wrong here?

Any help will be appreciated

Turn off city water
Turn off water pump
Open faucet and run water till it stops
Turn on kitchen faucet
Let it run about 1 min
shut off kitchen faucet
wait for pump to stop
turn off pump
turn on city water.
Should be OK, as it should have reset the back flow valve.

Did you follow FlyBob's instructions? That usually resets the valve that is stuck open and fills the fresh water tank.

IF you had followed Fly Bob's advice and instructions it would have been fixed faster and easier.

By taking it apart You accomplished what he suggested without having to go to all that work and trouble.

Live and learn!

This method didn't work in the first time I have a problem and not in the second!

It's only 8 screws to take out and in, pretty simple things to do [emoji6]
