Water Pump Out

This last weekend we arrived at campground (boondocking) to find no operational water pump. Checked all fuses, both at distribution center and pump. Good voltage at the pump but no motor. Is this just time to replace the pump? Trailer is on third season with about 30 days total use and not all boondocking.

Additional question, I have followed all of the threads regarding batteries and boondocking!! Have 2 (Interstate) Gp 24 12v marine batteries installed by dealer that need replacing. No room for 6v GC batteries or even GP 27 without moving battery rack to top of trailer frame. Is there a "Best" GP 24 to purchase for under $200 or just go with the usual, treat 'em right and replace regularly?

Thanks

If you plan to do more boondocking, I suggest you avoid the marine batteries. These are dual purpose batteries that are a compromise. I also recommend a reasonable battery monitor system to allow you to track current usage and charging to protect your investment.

If you have two group 24 on your tongue, you have room for two 6v golf cart batteries.
Same footprint but they are a little taller.

I believe you have room for 2 6v batteries. When I had my TT (before I went to a 5er) I was able to drop the 6V into the stock 12V battery holders and close the lid. The foot print is near identical with the 6V only being a few inches taller.

I get the ones from Sams, duracell eg2. They run about $90 a piece locally. I had the interstates you have, they are rated at 55 amp hours. The EG2s are rated at 215 amp hours.

To the water pump... you had voltage at the pump... did you verify a good ground circuit?
It still could be a pump motor but I'd check the rest of the circuitry first.
Sometimes bumping the motor with your fist or a rubber mallet will get it going if it's a stuck brush.

If you are not interested in golf cart batteries, look for group 24 marine batteries that are not crank only or dual purpose. (crank/deep cycle) Try to find a dedicated deep cycle only.
