WaterPur Cartridge

We have a 2017 Cardinal 3950. We need to change the cartridge in the WaterPur filter, but can’t figure out how to accomplish this simple task. There is no room for the cartridge housing to come off.

You need about an inch space at the bottom of the filter assembly in order to remove the old element. Looks like you are very tight at the bottom there. You may have to remove the screws that hold the mounting bracket in place to be able to remove.

Loosen those three screws (no need to remove completely) at the top of the housing bracket and slide the assembly slightly up and out of the enlarged holes. It will be somewhat tight moving with the plumbing connected but that will allow you to tip the assembly enough to remove the canister.

Be sure to loosen the canister first.
