I would suggest that you get a clear adapter so you can visually see the tanks draining something like this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...e?ie=UTF8&th=1
Exactly my thought because I had blank tank cable issues and moved the valve handle to get a straight shot to the valve.....

Drain grey.Pour water into each sink/shower/washer one at a time to see if it drains through identified grey drain.I think fresh drain also sounds like good probability.

In the first picture you can see a label for a grey tank handle, but there is only a cap. The handle in the second picture is the grey tank handle relocated, probably after the cable broke/didn't work.

I have a FR Hemisphere, my handle for the black tank disappears as you are stating. I would bet it’s for black tank. Get you a clear 45 adapter for sewer hose and that way when you pull one of the handles you can tell if anything is draining. I use it every time I dump so I can tell when dirty black water quits, I close that valve and open Gray valves to wash it out. Hope this helps

I’m still thinking it is for a second gray tank. Almost guaranteed the washer drains into its own grey tank. One black, two gray. But the pictures only show three handles, one for each tank. Would they really put a sliding valve on the fresh water tank? How about looking under Meath and seeing if there is a fresh water drain with a cap or quarter turn valve on it!

@chickdoe, MiniLites are now factory equipped with an appx 2” gate/slide valve for dumping the fresh water tank. While OP has a few years older and different model RV, it is possible the valve in question is for the fresh water tank.

That said, if he will perform the simple test I recommended he can rather easily determine what the valve does.

well you learn something everyday. does the fresh water drain using the gate valve have a separate drain exit? or is it plumbed into the black and gray tank drains? i would hope not.

My flagstaff superlite has the "newer" gate valve on te fresh tank. Its a separate white T handle. The gate valve is large and points straight down from the fresh tank. I can dump 30-40 gallons of water in a couple of minutes. So much nicer than the little 1/4 turn levers. Make sanitization quicker.

My rig is a destination trailer but it has two grey tanks - one for kitchen (galley) and one for the rear (bathroom sink, shower, washer). There are two outlet valves for them in two different locations. The galley tank empties into the main grey tank, and the main grey tank empties into the sewer outlet. To empty the galley tank you need to pull both grey valves.

Given we don't move our rig we keep the galley valve open full time except to close and fill it a couple of times each season to chemically treat it, then
open it again. The main grey water valve we keep open full time except to fill it for an extra power flush of the black tank.

I bet if you pull the valve under the trailer (looks like a grey colored handle to me) AND the handle marked grey in the water control area of your rig, your galley tank will empty.

I'd be surprised if there isn't a label of some sort directly on the outside of your rig on the slide or body for picture #2 that says "Galley Tank". My story was when our trailer was delivered it had no handle on it at all and was kind of "hidden"! So I had to contact the dealer to get me a handle. The only clue I had was the label itself!

Thanks for everyone's input. Problem solved, I can finally wash dishes in my sink again!
ummmm..... some days you think you are so very smart....then others you become completely humbled.
I had to change campsites this past weekend so during my packing and closing up my slides....I was lubbing my slide rails and low and behold....I found the other DRAIN! Just forward of left front tire hiding behind my stabilizer jack.
What a D A that i feel like!

Crow tastes so much better warm. Embarrassed completely but figured i had to share!

I've not see one plumbed to the termination valve/connection.
Most just dump directly below the fresh tank.

So tell us. Was it a completely separate valve and drain cap, i.e., a separate place to attach the drain hose?

Or was it a drain valve that drains one tank into the other?

You capitalized DRAIN, but I can't tell if you meant DRAIN VALVE, or DRAIN CAP?

Completely separate valve completely separate drain, no i have not had to use my fresh water tank as of yet but have reviewed the video posted earlier.
I am a transplant to south Florida, this is my first run at actually living in my camper. I live pretty much in RV parks with water connection. i suppose i should make myself more familiar with my systems rarely used....ugh
Thank you very much for all of the help!
