Where is the HW Control Board (Module) in my 21fbrs Microlite

Have an issue with the propane side on the hotwater tank where it will not fire. Electric side ok and propane side worked fine a couple times. Narrowed down it is probably the Hotwater Control Board (module). My question is, "where is it located in my RV - 21fbrs Microlite?

I have contacted Forest River, as well, and awaiting a response. I don't want to drag this into the dealer due I currently have it parked (in a permanent sort of way).

Any Help in how to get to the board is most appreciated (and any other additional input)... Thank you!

Water heaters are 100% self contained. Both Atwood and Suburban. If you post what brand and model you have, a lot of folks have links to diagrams of the system you seek.
With that said, the potted circuit board is unlikely the problem if the electric side functions normally. I suggest you check your gas supply.

Thank you for your help and input. I have two full tanks of propane and have propane flowing at the burner. From what I have troubleshooted so far and from what Forest River is telling me, most likely the Control Board (which is a 12V controller). Apparently there was a bunch of these that have failed and most likely more to fail. Just had someone I know today, brand new unit, and the board fried. At this point i am just trying to figure out, where exactly is this board and how I get to it. Some are affixed to the tank insulation with 2-way tape and most likely I have to remove a drawer, panel or something to get to it. I am pretty confident it is the Control Board; however, I am no expert on this. If I do find that I can get to it, may go with a Dinosaur brand board (made in USA), as I have been seeing recommended.

Problem resolved... Issue was the hot water module circuit board. Forest River had me take a pic of the board then sent me a replacement. Bad part was that I had to cut a hole in my new RV to get to the board. Very easy to replace once the module is located. The hot water on the propane side fired first time after replacing the board. I am thinking there is some issue with these boards due Forest River bent over backwards to make this right.

Sorry you had to find it yourself, but glad you did.

Thanks much for coming back and letting us know what it was and that FR sent you a new part that fixed it.

Ah, not a potted board. Must be a Suburban. Glad it is repaired.
