Wildwood HG 281RKS water heater bypass valve

It appears my set up didn't come with a WH bypass valve or winterizing kit. The WH shut off valves are accessed by removing the dresser drawers and reaching under the wardrobe closet. It's an awkward location and would be a pain to install the valve there and I don't have pex tools.

Since I did not order the rear outside kitchen, I installed the bypass valve under the kitchen sink, along with an isolation valve for the FW tank, and the suction line with valve for the AF. Everything is right by the pump and the valves are easy to access. FR had installed 1/2" mip plugs so it was easy to connect.

I blow out my lines and drain everything, and then flush AF through all lines including through the low points. I do shut the inlet and outlet valves of the WH first, and drain it. I also open the drain valve and TP relief.
