Winter

I have a heated water tank. At What temperature will it prevent freezing? 25? 20? 10?
Thanks. Bing

Welcome to the forum most rigs that have heat on the potable water also have heat pads on the gray and black tanks also. Make sure there is something in the tanks before turning on. various pads have different settings for turning on 34* to 40* seems to be about the range to keep the tanks above freezing.

I think he wants to know at what AMBIENT temp will the heaters keep the tanks liquid, like how low he can go.

Make sure you know what type heated tanks you have. My "heated" tanks simply mean there is a duct from the furnace to heat the area the tanks are in, they are not electrically heated. When I was full time in mine, around 25F was about the limit. I probably could have gone lower if I had added under pinning.

Yeah, I'm looking for an ambient temp as a guideline. My rockwood 2109s has a heated pad under the tank, but gray/black tanks. Heading for southern utah and temps have gone down to @15°. Any other ideas?
