Winterizing and water pump keeps running.

I own a 2018 Flagstaff 23B and have winterized it myself each year without any issues. This year the water pump keeps on running and doesn’t build up enough pressure in the line. I’ve included my process along with photos for the group to see.
1) I drain my hot water tank and turn the bypass valves for winterization
2) Each year I open up a faucet and gently use my compress air pump to blow out any water within the system then open the hot and cold low point on the back of the trailer.
3) i’ll change the direction of the valve on the water pump to shut off the freshwater rain
4) i’ll hook up a hose to the intake for antifreeze
5) turning on the water pump I can see antifreeze coming through the system, however it’s not a consistent flow it’s spurts with air
6) The water pump is not shutting off and I hear it slowly running.

The pump is working because the antifreeze is being sucked into the system but I’m not getting a consistent flow of water I’m getting spurts of air. I’ve also read a couple of post where the reason why I’m getting air is that plastic cup might be cracked and allowing air to get into the pump, and therefore not build up enough water pressure. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

You only have one faucet open at a time, right?

If you want to replace the strainer and that's a SHURFLO pump: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...JOE3FVDYM&th=1
