Winterizing, replacing pump, leaks

Planned to replace my pump when winterizing. Also had a small leak around the filter to repair. I have the pump installed and filter leaks fixed not it seems that I have drips at many braided flex pipe junctions. I guess I moved too many things or maybe these small leaks have been there. More than I can tackle right now. I winterized with antifreeze and when the supply is not pressurized the drips stop.

How can I move forward during the winter? Is there a way or place to cap off the supply to eveything while replacing pipes and connections within the pump and heater area?

Should I replace as much of the braided flexible line as possible or "simply" reinstall the connections? Should i replace the pex straps (on the flex pipe) with small hose clamps or should I re-install the pex connectors?

I want to get this stuff done and tested during the winter so that I can get out in the spring without worries.

I removed the filter because we do not drink the water anyway. I added flair-it fittings on the braided hose.

It tests ok but the flair it fittings make me a bit nervous because others are not using them.

My thoughts were to replace all the braided hose on the output side of the pump including the city water hose. Is this a good plan or should I stick with he flair-it fittings?

If I were to remove the braided hose on the city inlet how would I attach it? Basically I’m looking to understand what kind of fitting is at the city inlet? Picture attached

If its not broke don't fix it. The fittings are not leaking I would go with that. Who cares what others are not doing it seems like you are trying to talk yourself into more work. wait until something leaks if it ever does and then replace it. JMHO

Funny… my wife is telling me this all the time. I can never leave things alone.

I just worry about it coming undone and water pouring into the trailer

I need to lighten up and enjoy life

Thanks for looking
