12.5v at New Battery When Plugged into 110V/ House

Hi All I Have a 2006 forest river Flagstaff Classic Super Lite 5th Wheel We Bought Last Year.
I bought a New Marine 12v Battery today and Installed it.
I Put a Volt Meter on it while Plugged into the 110v House Plug, I'm only Getting 12.5 Volts.
Is the Onboard Battery Charging Output Just a Tiny Bit compared to a Cars 13.6 - 14.6 Volts from My Automotive Training Years ago ??
Thanks
Timmy from CT

Nope. Your converter should be outputting 13.4 to 14.6 volts. Things to check:
Battery disconnect switch
Resettable 12 volt circuit breaker
Reverse polarity fuses in converter
AC circuit breaker for input to converter

Also- make sure the converter is getting 120v power. Not unusual for outlet at house to be dead, extension cord to be bad, or power inlet to be faulty.
