20 amp Dogbone

Anyone know of a 20 amp dogbone? All I see is 15 amp.
Looking for a 50 amp to 20 amp.
Thanks for the help

I've never seen one, and honestly I doubt you will find one. I would imagine to be UL listed it would need the proper 20 plug on it (the one with the bent pin):

How many people do you know have a proper 20 amp outlet in their house? Let alone how many 20 amp extension cords have you seen?

Now don't tell anyone.... all the branch circuits in my house are 20amp. I plug the trailer into one of the barn outlets that has a nightlight on it, and used to charge the mower. So even though my dogbone is 15->50 amp, I can easily pull the full 20 amps through it. The wire on the dogbone is 10 gauge, all other wires are 12 gauge. So the weak part is the 15amp plug, but I'm guessing that for the brief periods it may draw over 15 (like when AC kicks on) there is enough mass to dissipate the heat.

Never heard of a 50A to 20A dogbone, but I know you want one with a 15A male plug to a 50A female plug and it will work fine.

15amp nomenclature for the 'dog bone' adapter you are referring to is really more of a way of saying a 'household' outlet, since most are 15amp...

Many 15amp and 20amp outlet or circuits are simply exactly the same, the only difference being the size of the breaker at the main panel.

Well, since the wire is 10 gauge, that solves the problem. 10 gage is typically used for 30 amp in a household setting.

Ill just go with it. I was just looking to have everything at the proper 12 gauge wire, since the inverter I'm plugging into supports 20 amp. It would be nice to have 12 gauge wire on the adapter, to match the 12 gauge romex, for the 20 amps
Thanks for the help
