2011 forest river sunseeker 3100 battery question

Hi, we have a 2011 Forest River Sunseeker 3100, today I tired starting the generator for its monthly run. Would not start, clinking, I believe the accessory battery interstate SRM27 is bad, 2003 date on battery. Couple of questions
Is this the right battery for this motorhome, we bought this used.
What is the appropriate procedure to replace the battery

I have 2 group 31 batterys in my step. You need to measure the opening then the battery to get the size to fit. I am using AGM batterys so I don't have to add water.

Ok, should I shut the breakers off before disconnect and reconnecting the new battery to protect the appliances?

Just take a picture of how the battery cables are connected, maybe even mark them before removing. If connected to shore power, shut off the converter circuit breaker. Then disconnect the battery, add the new one and reconnect in the opposite of how you disconnected.

Maybe you don't know that, if the house batteries are dead, you can start the truck motor and, two or three minutes later, start the generator.

I think you are due for new house batteries.
