2014 SunSeeker 3050 Tail Lights

I'm embarrassed to admit this but I just noticed the tail lights on my MH were assembled/installed improperly by the factory. The passenger side has the running light operating on the top, break light is the middle light and the backup on the bottom. The driver's side had the break light on the top, running light in the middle and backup on the bottom.
No rewiring was done to the lights since I bought this new in 2015. I'm going to straighten this out, but I need to know which configuration is correct. I figure I can pull the gang of three lights and swap the offending outlets, reassemble and reseal the fixture.
Can someone "in the know" tell me if the running lights are supposed to be on top or the middle fixture? I suspect the former but you know what you get when you Assume something!

As I would have expected.
I have a call into the factory, when and if they let me know I'll post the response. I'm sure there are standards out there published by the Federal Highway folks.

running lights, brake lights, backup. I don't think there is a law regarding this, I do believe its important that both sides (driver and passenger) be the same.
