2015 Forest River EVO travel trailer
We purchased our trailer new. We had an additional battery installed both are tied together and maintenance free so we would have longer times between using our 2 Honda generators. We replaced all the light bulbs with LED’s. We have always had the batteries drain quickly even when nothing is on except the refrigerator. After 8 hours of charging prior to going to bed we wake up to no battery power. Everything is off including the pump, water heater, heater, and lights. We do not use the radio and we have not been charging our phones in the unit on purpose. Although it is equipped with wall chargers in both bedroom and living area. We don’t have a tv in the unit and we use flashlights.
Giant RV told us it wasn’t the batteries we bought from them. While it was under warranty they kept telling us that nothing was wrong. But something is definitely wrong. We also had a kill switch installed for when we are not using it. We live in Southern California so we camp every other month including right now. We charged the batteries again last night, dead in the morning. Same thing for the last 4 days. We had full batteries when we left to walk around town at 10:15 and when we got back at 4:00, dead batteries.
