2018 2618VS Windjammer lost AC power to outlets

No power on hot points in lounge slide out. All cct breakers have output. Am I looking at a broken wire? Is this common after 7 months?

I don't know that I'd call it common, but it certainly does happen.

The first place I'd start looking is the energy track under the slide. Especially at the ends where the most flex takes place.

Kind of surprised you have 120 vac outlets on the slides themselves. All the power on both of my slides is DC and it must be similar to yours? Fuse maybe?

Most common issues-

1. They're tied into a GFCI somewhere that has tripped.

2. They are on a series run and the connection point to another outlet has disconnected. Find any outlets between those and the breaker box and pull them and check for good connection. They will likely be a push type connection that slit the insulation on the conductors to make contact. Sometimes they won't cut completely through the insulation, so just because a wire is in place doesn't mean it has good connection.

3. Could be a cut wire under the slide, but this would be odd. Check hot to neutral and ground on those outlets. If no voltage, you'd have to have a break ONLY on the hot wire most likely, which would be, once again, odd. If you'd have cut all three you should have grounded out and tripped a breaker. I guess it's possible you could have lost the neutral and ground, but still improbable.

Don't know what you mean by "HOT POINTS". That's a new one on me. I can only assume that you are refering to 120 volts "Outlets". The first place to look is in your Electric breaker panel. Turn off all breakers then turn them back on. Next determin if you have an inverter and see if the inverter supplies the outlets in the slide. The inverter may have a GFI outlet on it that is tripped.

Nope, not a 1. Adjacent to both of the slides in the coach. Must've been FR's cost reduction that year or option!

My 2015 Wildcat has an outlet in the dining table/lounge chair slide out and 3 outlets in the kitchen. As cavie says, they are all 120v AC.

The OP is from New Zealand, so maybe "hot points" is a term for outlets.

I lost power to my TV and the under-desk outlet in my large slide (Rockwood Signature Fifth Wheel 8282). Turns out that they both were wired in series to a GFI outlet next to the stove. I tried to reset the GFI and it would not reset, even though it had power. Apparently, these GFI circuit breakers can just go bad. So I installed a new GFI outlet and Voila! I had power again downstream. Pretty simple but just had to trace it down.

This big slide has an outlet next to the desk to plug in your computer, an outlet for the TV, and an outlet under the desk for the fireplace. The fireplace was wired separately because of its larger amperage draw and not part of the GFI circuit.

Yeah. Our bedroom slide does this occasionally. I just send DH underneither to jiggle the wire connectors. Someday we might fix it for good... now he just knows where to move things to make contact.

On a separate note, it was impressive to see a reply from Forest River on here. Especially since the WJ are a dying brand. Sob.
