2022 319 Leprechaun Not Charging House Battery

Long time reader, new poster to these forums, first time Class C owner. Have searched the forums for specific information but haven't found what I needed as of yet.

Several trips ago my Leprechaun started beeping after a few hours on the road, apparently the noise was coming from the refrigerator which had run out of power. I understand that the house battery should be charged by the F450 alternator while driving however after doing some electrical checks with my multi-meter the battery is not seeing any charge at all.

When plugged into shore power (only time this isn't the case is while on the road) the battery is seeing 13.3-13.5 volts so converter appears to be working properly.

When inside the battery box I note that a secondary compartment has a wiring terminal strip and a small, what appears to be a solenoid. In addition there are several terminated wires and a connector that are laying loose as well. After checking voltage at the top of the solenoid with the engine running I had 14.4 volts, however just battery voltage at the bottom connector of the solenoid which is attached to the large gauge wires feeding the battery. I assumed that this indicates that the solenoid is not working, but...

I measured voltage at all the above mentioned loose wires with the engine running and there was the only one that had the 14 + volts, yellow with black stripe. On the top part of the solenoid there is a dual spade terminal which only had one wire, yellow with red stripe. I touched the wire with voltage (yellow with black stripe) to the empty terminal and the solenoid immediately clicked, and when checking the battery it was now seeing 14.2 volts. Unfortunately there was a constant beep when the wire was touching the terminal so I pulled it quickly out of fears of creating a new problem.

So I might have stumbled upon the issue related to the no charging concern but am not confident that is the case. Don't want to make the situation worse as I have no wiring diagrams to confirm that the yellow with black stripe wire should be attached at the upper solenoid location along with the yellow with red wire.

Can anyone provide any insight as to the proper wiring? Any help would be appreciated. Unfortunately in the picture the terminals on the solenoid are covered by a piece of tape but they are near the solenoid mounting bolt that can be seen on the right side of the pic. The heat shrunk wire is the yellow with red stripe.

After spending a little more time thinking about the issue I decided to hook up the yellow/black stripe wire to the empty spade terminal on top of the solenoid. After starting the engine the constant warning shrill came back, this time I took some time to find the location and surprisingly it happened to be a warning for the stabilizing arms, as they were about one click from the fully up position.

Checked the battery voltage and it was now receiving 14.2 volts of charge with the engine running. Problem solved. I also now understand that the generator power does not go through the solenoid but has a direct connection to the battery, which I found interesting.

On we go.
