30/50 amp surge protector interchangeability

A simple question and I think I already know the answer, but thought I would run it by the experts.

The question is - I have a Surge Guard 50 amp unit. Does/would this unit work with a 30 amp line - I have the appropiate adapters and I know the limitation of 30 versus 50 amp service.

Thanks.

I mean its no different than using a 50 to 30 amp adapter you just have the added surge protector!

You are correct. I just wasn't thinking of it that way.

Thanks
