30 amp inlet cord brand specific?

Hello All -

My rig has the Furrion 30 Amp power inlet, installed at the factory. The rig came with the Furrion power cord, which does not have the 90-degree plug that relieves pressure on the cord and the power inlet.

I ordered a new Camco power cord with this 90-degree plug, but when I received it the plug would fit the connections, but not twist and lock.

I returned it and ordered a different brand ("Leisure Cords"). That one required quite a bit of effort to just push on the inlet prongs, and then it twisted to lock (I think), but it wasn't turned to the point that the cord was pointing straight down as it should. Also, I don't like having to push and pull that hard on the inlet; the original Furrion cable is very easy to plug in and twist without having to "wrench" on anything.

So... Is the Furrion power inlet picky about what cord is used with it? I've searched, but haven't come across anyone else with this power cord compatibility issue. Any insight would be appreciated.
