30 Amp Power Cord on 2015 Flagstaff Melted

After RVing for a week, when I unplugged the power cord from the trailer end one of the prongs had melted the plastic area of the plug. About a year ago we also found a surge protector in a similar condition. Does anyone know what can be wrong. I do have a warranty and hope that this can be diagnosed with warranty. Thanks for comments.

The plug is a twist lock. Did you twist it when you plugged it in? Many simply push it in, which doesn't ensure a good connection.
