50 amp power issue

At Cape Henlopen SP with new to me 2021 vibe 28RL .. Looking for suggestions .I plugged the 50 amp cord into outlet at post then it sparked and smoked when I turned breaker on. After disconnecting I checked fuses , breakers and all electric items on 12volt I plugged cord into 30 amp with dogbone all is good for now..at home I plug into 15 amp between trips.. Thanks Tim

That certainly sounds like a faulty 50 amp outlet. Leave it plugged into the 30 amp, be careful of your power usage so you don’t trip the 30 amp, and notify the camp hosts of the problem. If you need 50 amps because you need to run both AC units ask for a different site.
