I can't use what won't fit, there's no room anywhere else.

They should fit in the same space.

6 volt, end to end will fit, but all the vents and handles between the two don't measure right. I hoped someone knew what fit, and the brand.

Thanks. The bottom tray on my hitch measures 23"x8". My existing 12 volt box is 7/12"x 11". Room for 2, but the top of most boxes have stuff sticking out.

That one box from allbattery fits. I don't think I can just pick up 2 boxes at the store at the store and return if they don't fit, if I can't find the right one online.

If they seem a tight fit side-by-side, turn one of the lids backwards. They they will "nest" kinda nicely. Obviously you need enough wire length to pull it off.

Well that's a start! Wiring is a complete other thing... I was planning on copying my first battery, then wiring the two to each other.

So after reading the thread, I'm sold on the 6V batteries because I often camp without power. I just purchased a 2017 Rockwood Extreme 282TESP that has the toy hauler rack on the front.

Looking at the weight (70lbs each) of the 6V batteries, I would want to permanently store them on my pop up front rack because of the weight. I also keep my trailer at a storage facility when not in use and have to deal with maintenance and security.

The original battery box/location won't hold the two 6V's, so I will probably have to relocate them. I saw this product online and was wondering if it will work for my needs. Anyone have one?

Do pop up owners relocate their batteries inside (maybe under the bench)? Will the wet batteries get too hot in that location? And will weight distribution become a problem?

Any suggestions?
