Mitchell,

Thanks for the advice & I get where you are coming from. I may have made a horrible mistake but only one way to find out? The deal is done & I shall soon be on the road hopefully asking myself 'Why didn't I do this sooner?' & looking at wonderful breathtaking views that make it all worthwhile. I am only planning to do this for a couple of years because it's a 'now or never' scenario for various reasons & I shall cross the next bridge when I come to it.

Your planned trip to Yellowstone sounds marvelous & exactly what I should be doing as I am not too far away from your starting point, in the Smokies, here in Northern Alabama. However I feel that I may be too late in the year as I do not have anything booked yet & I am constantly told that I will have to book any National Park months in advance, we shall see, I pick up my trailer next week sometime.

My SUV is plenty strong enough, I am just not a truck guy & the hatchback makes a lot more sense for convenience when travelling with a large dog . My initial problem was the tongue weight of the original trailer that I had picked out, problem solved on that score as I chose an alternative.

Have a great trip, stay safe & Thanks again.

Regards
