I think I have a load on my carriage batteries. The wall indicator showed my batteries to be 1/3 or less charged. I took them out of the coach and charged them. After re-installing they last about a week, while on shore power, before they again were down to 1/3 charge.
When I start the engine, the wall indicator shows 100% charge. I know that is false as I can not run a slide after turning off the engine.
I have a 2007 Georgetown XL with an Onan 5500 Gold Marquis converter.
If I have to try to run down a load or short, how do I set up the meter? I'm a real rookie at this.
If your batteries are running down while on shore power your converter is not
working.
Could be a bad converter or blown fuse or tripped breaker.
Hopefully some other Georgetown owner will suggest what you should
be looking for.

I recently tossed a battery that plain old would not take a charge. It would read 100% while charging but the moment it was removed from the charger it would test at no more than 11.75 volts.
